It's All a Hot Mess At Best Thing

Dear America,

"Where there is no vision, 
the people perish: 
but he that keepeth the law, 
happy is he"

k so this isn't some huge revelation, right

law creates a certain order of things.

No matter the scale -- from picking up a gum wrapper to keeping our commandments with the Omniscient Source of all things good, the great G Thing in the sky -- law and order divines more law and order and in return society grows more and more beautiful.

Trump is where he's at because in a manner of speaking and believing and the everlasting placement of one's faith -- we have lost our way in America.  We -- as in the story of US; our way, because it is about all of us doing this thing called life in America together, under God, and by the Rule of Law, as designed.  

The very ability to truly co-exist in America -- meaning, to assimilate into one body of countrymen with the same desire to maintain law and order as the next guy -- is at a tipping point.  And from day one of this election season, Trump understood these grievances and used them to propel an electrified campaign, for better or worse,

Now, getting to last night's first presidential debate -- it's pretty clear that nothing changed all that dramatically; we walk away within our own camps insisting that our candidate won, but that reality is a wee bit twisted -- warped. at best.  

The night was uncomfortable, really.  

There they were on the world stage -- personalized presidential podiums and all --  trying their darnedest to appear temperamentally top shelf to a nation just waiting on pins and needles....

waiting for the first zinger -- you know the one, it's the one that's been at the tip of their tongue, waiting rather impatiently for the moment to be just right.

The strain to maintain seemed immense. at best.

The thing is upon this beautiful morning in America (yeah, even if it's really partly cloudy with a chance of sprinkles)...it is a sad day if these two depict the best of the best of the best.

It's like I wanna say to the both of them, nice try, next?  Who else have we got?  Anyone?

Unbelievable, really -- that we are, for all intents and purposes,  just a month away from choosing America's next Commander of Chief.

 Speaking of nice tries...I've been wanting to introduce Barbra Nice-Try-Sand for days now....
She wrote a piece for The Huffington Post, titled "Facts Matter."  And even though I really really really didn't even want to read the piece of trash, I picked it up anyway...

But lo and behold -- this girl got the best laugh!  It was such a good chuckle...

all through it, I'm thinking is this girl for real?  
Is she really going to write a puff Huff piece to pump up Hillary based upon "facts matter"  and using Donald Trump as the punching bag?    Seriously?

After all the lies on Hillary have surfaced time and time again -- from Benghazi to Baghdad, from illegal Email Servers to the actual misuse of confidential emails, from voting for the Iraq war before she was against it, from calling the TPP the "gold-standard" before thinking twice, from the Clinton Foundation perks with State Department works, from playing and speaking for personal gain with Wall Street....and on and on and on....from simply being in government for a lifetime -- over thirty years -- with no accomplishments worth a darn, as its all smoke and mirrors with only her best side showing in public (and sometimes with a nasty twitch, a pesky cough, or showing off a new twist on the smokey eyes...).

Liar liar pantsuit on fire!

It's like Barbra, don't quit your day job; this is not the way we were, you funny girl.  But more important, in what universe do you live -- are you not at all affected by Hillary's slew of missteps and mistakes?  Gotta love the hollywood bubble.

What Barbra doesn't understand is that it doesn't matter so much what the Donald knows or doesn't know --

his followers see the return to a country of law and order; they trust that Trump has the contacts to create a cool, credible cabinet, and has enough experience and patriotism to support a more unconventional way in the making of America great again, even if that means he pieces us back together one by one, step by step, whether on the fly or by the seat of his blue suit pants.  The business, at hand, seems to suit him -- consider it more a fit of time and place than anything else.   

And who are we kidding... for better or worse, it's all a hot mess, at best.  We do have days when we feel and look beautiful....and I want more of those. 

WHAT Trump IS NOT is the seasoned, worn out bureaucrat and career politician in the race who IS every bit responsible for things like the twenty trillion dollars in national debt (with the additional unfunded liabilities totaling over 100 TRILLION dollars!)....k, babs?  He's not the one.

How embarrassing that Nice-Try-Sand, and people like Mark Cube Head even think for one minute that Hillary is all that and worthy of the office of the presidency after all she's done and more like undone -- ripping law and order up from its roots with aplomb.  IT's incredible how she can keepeth such poise, even after all things said and unsaid, seen and unseen -- but mostly, undone, unsaid and unseen.  But there she was -- with that big fat grin from ear to ear looking worse for wear, and faking it, all of it, year after year.  

If  Hi-LIAR-y  is your girl, Barbra, there is nothing but sadness in my heart.

Government doesn't do anything, Barbra, but waste hard earned money.  It's a black hole that gets bigger and bigger, grander and grander, evermore elitist as each day passes.

Here's an example of how America truly works -- backwards and forwards, reruns and all...   

It's a beautiful story that I just happened to have fallen into by accident some time on Saturday.  And it all starts with a show called Lucky Dog.  Have you seen it?

The episode I watched matched up a homeless, shelter dog with a wounded veteran -- Atlas and Scott.   From the first minute to the last, tears streamed down my cheeks and I kept thinking to myself, brilliant, this is so brilliant, how genius, how beautiful and on and on and on.

It demonstrated perfect law and order returning to two lives without any government help.

So today,
 upon this beautiful day in America, 
we have a choice to make.

It really shouldn't be all that hard to decide, if being honest and sincere.  
Trump is the only option available.

For better, for worse, it's a hot mess, at best.  But it's OUR hot mess x

Come kicking and screaming if you must, but here's to making America Great Again...
and that only happens when everyday begins with law and order -- and the good intentions of each and every one of us to do good, say good, be good, and think good.

It's Can Get Messy Being a Co-Worker With God Thing

Dear America,

this day takes me directly to James Allen for nourishment of the mind and body--

what say you?

What say you upon this dawn, after a second night of violent protests in Charlotte, North Carolina?

Now before anyone gets all up in my face -- mind you, our president just the other day (Tuesday, to be exact) and speaking before the United Nations, called upon all people to consider this notion of co-creation with God -- the very THING inside us that connects us through Spirit, and allows for us to recognize right from wrong, or being of noble character, or not -- and he began with a quote from Martin Luther King Jr.:

"Sitting in a prison cell, a young Martin Luther King, Jr. wrote that, “Human progress never rolls on the wheels of inevitability; it comes through the tireless efforts of men willing to be co-workers with God.” 
and going straight to his close:

"...But my faith in those principles does force me to expand my moral imagination and to recognize that I can best serve my own people, I can best look after my own daughters, by making sure that my actions seek what is right for all people and all children, and your daughters and your sons.  
This is what I believe:  that all of us can be co-workers with God.  And our leadership, and our governments, and this United Nations should reflect this irreducible truth."

Now, in analyzing this speech (and nearly every speech he makes, really) -- given his personal penchant to please all people, it turns into a rather messy message.  In and of itself, his constant overarching appeal to the masses, especially an audience of many nations,  turns into mush -- after a'peel after a'peel is plucked one by one, the core message becomes a nugget of nothingness; the fundamental principles of America turn into nothing more than pig slop.  And America becomes no different than any other place on earth.

But this idea of being co-workers with God thing is intriguing, isn't it?


Skipping around a wee bit, moments before he says "but my faith in those principles does force me to expand my moral imagination...by making sure that my actions seek what is right for all people and all children..."  He makes this statement:

"My own family is a made up of the flesh and blood and traditions and cultures and faiths from a lot of different parts of the world -- just as America has been built by immigrants from every shore.  And in my own life, in this country, and as President, I have learned that our identities do not have to be defined by putting someone else down, but can be enhanced by lifting somebody else up.  They don’t have to be defined in opposition to others, but rather by a belief in liberty and equality and justice and fairness."
And I wonder...are you sure about that Mr. President?


Let's begin with putting down average Americans -- as in when campaigning in 2008 -- here's Genesis 2.0 when you said, "They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."  

And evidently, along those lines and fast forward to like a week ago, you didn't think there was anything wrong when your candidate, Hillary, called a whole lot of Trump's followers an irredeemable basket of deplorables.  What gives?  Where is this unfettered "belief in liberty and equality and justice and fairness" for all?

And something else here is rather surprising  -- this snippet from your speech also answers to the mass confusion as to who you are and from where you came -- "my own family is made up of the flesh and blood and traditions and cultures and faiths from a lot of different parts of the world..."  thank you. 

So even though Trump put to pasture the question of where you were born recently -- after revealing Hillary's people promoted the maligning story of your country of origin back when she was campaigning against you -- it is fascinating that all of a sudden you put your multi-cultural reality not only back into the conversation, but its like a point of light now, beaming a certain truth that was once hidden -- no, better still, once disguised. (What, for personal gain, perhaps -- to appear more like us regular folk?  Why the deception, the repackaging of who you really are, if so proud and have nothing to be ashamed of now...)

Yeah, that was then, and this is now.

Now, Mr. President, you're looking at what comes next, aren't you...

Soon you will be free of the task of masquerading as an American president -- a president to all and in equal portion, fenced in by a certain discretion and allegiance and kinship to America.  Soon you will be free to go long, broad, border-less and global.

Indeed. Obama is about to join forces with the likes of a new breed of globe trotters and plotters...people like Christine Lagarde who recently said:
“History clearly tells us that closing borders or increasing protectionism is not the way to go. Many countries have tried this route, and just as many have failed,” she said. “Instead, we need to pursue policies that extend the benefits of openness and integration while alleviating their side effects. 
“What we need is a globalization that works for all.”
Obama noted at the UN:
"And we can only realize the promise of this institution’s founding -- to replace the ravages of war with cooperation -- if powerful nations like my own accept constraints.  Sometimes I'm criticized in my own country for professing a belief in international norms and multilateral institutions.  But I am convinced that in the long run, giving up some freedom of action -- not giving up our ability to protect ourselves or pursue our core interests, but binding ourselves to international rules over the long term -- enhances our security.  And I think that's not just true for us"
But now look at me.

My blog is  spinning out of control, turning into a mosh-pit of ideas...trying to say too much...and for what...

The thing is, this day is really about this notion set forward by President Obama, about being co-workers with God.  For if he is accepting this as his truth, how splendid.  If he is accepting this as one of America's cornerstones, as well, how wonderful.

But it makes me wonder -- for how is it possible to be co-workers with God, without clinging to our Bibles from time to time?  How is it possible for him to believe we Americans are truly co-workers with God, if his administration denies such a faith to hold true to the commandments made with God?  How is it possible to be co-workers with God, in our every day actions -- if that very belief system is punished, discriminated against, by the unconscionable rise in secular interests and cultural demands that force the innocent "co-worker with God" to live a lie (See new edicts cast down to the military, to the Catholic Church, to the Hobby Lobby, to North Carolina's LGBT law...just to name a few)?

And if in fact President Obama truly believes we are to be co-workers with God, what say the president after the last two days of riots in North Carolina?  To be co-workers with God requires a certain character, no?  I want to hear from the president, to speak of the character thrown asunder on the streets of North Carolina.

this is a sad day in America.
a sad day in so many ways -- we are a multi-lateral, multi-cultural, multi-national, multi-dysfunctional mess...

and I happen to love people.  
I am naturally a lover, not a fighter.

But above all things, I am not only the National Rifle Association, I am a co-worker with God.  Thank you, Mr. President.  [At every turn from here on out -- this free association should be our first response to the Obama Administration....that is, if faced with a lawsuit against our free exercise thereof....]

It's Thinking Outside the Basket Thing

Dear America,

...because if the "unerring" judgement is not enough to get the job, it must be because of sexism, according to Obama at a fundraiser for Hill on Sunday.

And pray tell, what did Obama just do -- add perhaps as many as half of Clinton's followers into the "basket of deplorables," too?  that's pretty incredible...

On second thought --  is he actually saying all of us are sexist when he says -- 

“We as a society
 still grapple 
with what it means
 to see a powerful 
woman....”

Oh really, Mr. President -- spitting that out with a blink of the eye and my sultriest voice ever.

AND how BOLD of you to claim she's got some kind of "unerring judgement"....code pink and code red meets up and makes a basket of laughables considering all this:

....after the nation 
has seen parading the front pages, 
year after year, stories questioning this fine mind on a political pedestal...

everything from the basket of co-conspirators in the misuse of confidential government emails, security-challenged servers set up - for all intents and purposes - in a room no bigger than a basket, the rampant co-mingling of power between the state department basket with HER very own basket case of a "foundation"  (the one that only gives 5.7% of its fund to charity) - allowing for a bushel and a basket of full special favors (tisk tisk)...

 and of course, at the top of the list, lest we forget what she did in Libya...
the Benghazi basket to be exact....turning down calls to ramp up security, leaving the Ambassador vulnerable over the night of September 11, 2012 -- and then, being part of the administration who flat out denied sending in reinforcements of any kind and being entirely responsible for the loss of four American lives (and THEN had the "unerring" judgement to proceed to spin a tale of lies to cover HER own derriere, with the "unerring" assistance, of course, of President Obama and his very own basket of deplorables within his administration).  Seriously?

Right, PBO, it's all because she's a woman. a huh

Honestly, it's hard to believe you could even say this line of unerring judgement with a straight face given the basket you hold over her runneth over with ineptness and folly by the dozens [and don't even get me started on making a basket and a case of your very own].

And how sad --

and emphasized this instead:



 "This should not be a close election, but it will be. And the reason it will be is not because of Hillary's flaws, but rather because, structurally, we've become a very polarized society," Obama said Sunday. 
He continued, "If all you're doing is watching Fox News and listening to Rush Limbaugh and reading some of the blogs that are churning out a lot of misinformation on a regular basis, then it's very hard for you to think that you're going to vote for somebody who you've been told is taking the country in the wrong direction." 
"And so, structurally, we already have these divisions and it's going to be hard to overcome those," Obama said.
As he complains of the basket of divisions -- while being the master weaver of deception, division and deplorable bias based upon his own ideological designs.  Man, how is it you haven't received an Emmy yet?    

Yeah -- and if all you're doing is watching MSNBC and listening to the opinions of think tanks like Media Matters,  or reading Huffington Post...and the umpteen leftist bloggers and journalists running mainstream media who un-apologetically  malign the right at every turn, churning out misinformation on a minute by minute basis, and owning twitter, facebook, google, each of which are hell bent on controlling every shred of information made available, then it's hard for you to believe that a liar can't break the old glass ceiling.  The purple haze mixes with mountains of her majesty and who ever in their right mind could vote for "the other guy."  


Emphasis not on men, but upon all human kind, right; and a special nod to "goodreads," too.

Here's another good read, this time from James Allen, As a Man Thinketh:

"Good thoughts and actions can never produce bad results; bad thoughts and actions can never produce good results...Men understand this law in the natural world, and work with it; but few understand it in the mental and moral world (though its operation there is just as simple and undeviating), and they, therefore, do not co-operate with it."

This girl believes men and women are equal-- and yet, from a night at the Emmy's to the Oval Office to the daily headlines, baskets full of propaganda and popular criticism against Trump during this election cycle go unmatched; it's a case of unequaled proportion; and it's obscene.  

The Left holds Hillary in a protective bubble.... more like wicker basket, if you will. Although brittle and vulnerable, the best part about it is that it is proudly made in the USA;  however,  by virtue of their maker, its basically a powerful band of elitists determined to transform America along with scores of Americans trying desperately to ride the coattails -- and likely settled into mediocrity, having been used and abused and divided by agenda driven needs.

Perhaps -- and just thinking outside the basket now -- perhaps more Americans understand this principle of reaping what we sow than previously thought, and with a certain and critical eye are moving in the direction their own heart and soul leads; perhaps more Americans than not, are choosing not to err in what we know and follow the unerring tug of intuition to change America's course.

Make no mistake --
the enemy is with in and with out, weaving constantly and at a staggering pace throughout the land; and the brazen assault against AMERICA for which SHE stands is what this day is all about.  

This aged, tarnished basket of good, solid ideals and values -- lost in translation, generation after  generation -- is at risk of being lost forever.  

Or just maybe, sold to the highest bidder ....[shocking!].  [and if the U.S. in fact wired money, when are the arrest warrants for treason going out to Obama and crew?]

Hillary will not change course, she is determined to continue it -- double down on it even -- and Americans know it; what is expected from a Hill Administration is the  same pattern, same material, same faulty thinking, and all the while sowing division where there was none and personally profiting by it at every turn.

Yes, indeed -- it is trying, defending this thing called America.
   
But all Americans, for better or worse, cannot afford to flinch, nor err, on this one.

Get over it, not under it.

It's Escapades and Episodes According to the Greatest Manipulator of Truth Ever Thing

Dear America,

"With all due respect, 
the fact is we had four dead Americans. 
Was it because of a protest, 
or was it because of guys 
out for a walk one night
 who decided they'd go 
kill some Americans? 
What difference, 
at this point, 
does it make?"

This snapshot of Hillary's Benghazi testimony reveals so much about HER, doesn't it?

Right from the get go, this answer she gives claims to be out of respect, and yet it turns into nothing of the sort.  HER answer is alarmingly disparaging to our four dead Americans, and makes her point by trivializing the possible reasons for the very attack...and adds finally, what difference at this point does it make, dead is dead, let's move on.org.

This attitude of what difference does it make seems to follow HER around like a puppy -- and just maybe she rues the day now made scorching permanent in American history; but no matter, what difference at this point does it make if she finds herself in regret, or not -- for Hillary's lack of respect to the truth will rule the day here on the old gthing...good morning.

This testimony reveals who she really is...a manipulator of truth, someone who makes a habit of using deception, when necessary, for selfish advancement or simply to avoid the consequences of a mistake.

Just like Benghazi -- this whole dehydration thing, and fainting thing, and falling down thing -- has a timeline, too.   Returning to circa December of 2012, here at CNN.

And even from the mouth of HER own husband -- “Well, if it is it’s a mystery to me and all of her doctors, because frequently, not frequently, rarely, but on more than one occasion, over the last many, many years, the same sort of thing’s happened to her where she got severely dehydrated,"

When it comes to the Clinton's -- the truth FREQUENTLY is altered, avoided, bleached, or destroyed by a hammer;  while sometimes -- this  truth -- when it is hidden deep inside the mind of another human being....perhaps after months of research, experiences close to a situation, or methodical review (I mean, what difference at this point does it make how the truth suddenly  illuminates, right) ....something actually happens to this human being -- keeper of the truth --  under the cover of darkness...poof!

You know, and I know, that you know, that I'm no doctor.  But if I were a doctor, and Hillary was under my care -- and if this whole fainting thing and falling down thing is really due to dehydration -- my prescription would be the same year over year:

  • drink more water, always have a bottle of water with you...better still, and if you are into brands -- load up on the Gatorade to the Powerade in the Escalade.
  • get your rest
  • periodically get hooked up to an IV for fluids, electrolytes, etc 
  • get a shot -- as in a vitamin cocktail on your derriere (very popular out here in So CAL)
  • (and being one of those skinny girls, myself -- tell her to think about losing a few LB's)
  • (not to mention, your face looks puffy -- are you taking steroids or the HGH, by chance...)
But don't tell me this is pneumonia.

And certainly -- let's not make light of it as if what difference at this point does it make, and consider it just something she just does frequently, or occasionally, or rarely, or from time to time, like Bill said.

The problem I have with the latest fainting spell -- causing HER to leave the 9/11 Anniversary service prematurely -- is that it didn't resemble fainting!

HER movements were odd -- by the time she got to the curb, while waiting for the van to pull up, she appears twitchy, to the point that at the very moment the van arrives, her whole body jerks.  Then her legs buckle, and she takes a step towards the van with help holding HER up on both sides, looking more like she has Muscular Sclerosis, or even Lou Gehrig's disease, or something. Something is wrong with HER.  

This is not just dehydration.

Nor the fault of pneumonia.

No way.
No way.
No way.

HER health issues are years in the making, and made exponentially more serious since the concussion in 2012, the one that prompted delaying her Benghazi testimony until she recovered.


BUTT the bottom line -- it all matters to the American people.
She must be the greatest manipulator of truth ever! Who couldn't proudly hail all that, huh?

Now Trump -- well (emphasis on well) he's not showing any signs of any health issues; and not only does it matter, it speaks volumes, and often repeats.  Yes, folks, it's gonna be huge, it's gonna be huge.

And yet, every time Hillary stumps, something seems to be a problem -- be it a cough, be it dehydration, be it the weather,  be it pneumonia, or be it the inability to just stay on message with her own policy and agenda plans vs. making the mistake of lumping half of Trump's followers into "a basket of deplorables."  [Of course, she corrected herself, and for the record considered it a mistake for calling it "half" -- but what difference at this point does it make,  she said it.  And maybe what she really wanted to say was ALL...there is that.] A tisket, a tasket, blame it on the basket...

When Judicial Watch deposed Cheryl D. Mills on the entire EmailServerGate -- Mills being the chief of staff for Hillary at the State Department...all four years, mind you -- the 162 page transcript contains as follows (see JW Verdict publication, for more):

  • 283 instances of the words "object" and "objection"
  • 38 instances of "I don't recall"
  • 183 instances of "I don't know"
And then JW goes to commentary in the Wall Street Journal, with Kim Strassel describing the Mills testimony as such:  "Ms. Mills can barely recall any conversation with anyone while at the State Department about a server, or email, or anything.  She is clueless or mum on why the server came to be or who knew about it, or how it worked."

To which I must conclude, this whole dehydration thing, fainting thing, falling down and hitting your head until you can't remember shit thing must be contagious.

Watch the video of Hillary "fainting" into the van, from pneumonia, because it was sweltering hot (at a beautiful 77 degrees), plus she needed a wee bit of water....






 indeed.

What difference at this point does it make, from every angle, this video is devastating.

It's almost as infuriating as that other video, the one that caused the attack on Benghazi -- if you happen to be in the basket of  leftists, that is.  Which, lucky for me, am not.  [....that link there has really nothing to do with Hillary's "situation" -- this girl just likes Gutfeld's angle on being lucky.]

And on that note, this girl is gonna wobble on into the kitchen for a little red fruit punch Powerade - gotta load up for the afternoon ahead.   Bottom's up.

It's a Salute and a Salutation on the Day...while searching for a little salvation Thing

Dear America,

"Domestic, but not domesticated."
just the bottom line from a Dodge Charger commercial,
currently running between plays during the first Sunday of football

Football may be the main thing on the day -- 
but alas, firmly planted along the sidelines sits a day in our history we will never forget.

It is the day being honored with flags, military salutes, moments of silence, and a passionate display of hands crossing hearts as we stand and sing to the National Anthem, with many of us brought to tears.

For it is the fifteenth anniversary of 9/11.

Protecting the nation from evil, both foreign and domestic, has become the mission of nearly each and every day since 2001.

And so we -- as in you and me -- will begin this day in America contemplating how things DOMESTIC actually requires a certain DOMESTICATED integrity in order to remain solid and secure; ultimately,  without achieving this kind of homogenized, thoroughly assimilated, domestication  -- from the mountains to the prairies, to the oceans white with foam  --  our life, wealth, liberty, and happiness will falter, and falter big.

Being the generation of 9/11 and just two weeks into kindergarten when the twin towers fell -- my girl recently reminded me of just how deeply rooted in nothing her generation truly lives...

...for during their most impressionable years, the world revolved around terror, fear, living with the unknown right next door or across a big, bad, far and wide, ocean -- with sea creatures, and monsters and all, oh my...  With hostility among nations high, diplomatic efforts choosing sides, our children advanced from grade school to middle school to high school, struggling to grasp English Literature, Trigonometry, and Political Science in an environment that, through no fault of their own stars, prompted hardly a sophomoric reaction,  but a downright revolt. 

These millennials grew into the attitude of YOLO!-- you only live once, bitches! -- and facebook-ed, twitter-ed, instagram-ed their lives with every once of apathy and self-centered-ness they could muster [my girl being the exception, and not the rule, of course.  tee hee].  Clinging to their phones at the hip as if their lives depended on it.

For all intents and purposes -- especially those purposes under heaven and designed by God himself -- this generation questions the reality of such a God, pitting religious wars against religious zealots and arriving at the ridiculous, one size fits all, answer that all religious idiots are to blame; for how could a loving God allow such pain and horror and atrocities to hit this land is my land and your land and not stop it, right?  How could He? Hey, millennials, meet Free Will-y. (Not the orca...and not Bill Clinton's nickname for his dingaling, silly)

 Hello.

So our culture -- domestically speaking -- is revisiting seeds of revolution from all kinds of sources --  for, sadly, it knows nothing of the America this girl knows and  was raised.

Domesticated, is almost like a bad thing these days.

From the feminists to the leftists, the "undocumented" to the refugee,  the agnostics to the atheists to the secularists to the socialists and back to the leftists again -- domesticated ways are a thing of the past.  Progressive ways have hit us with a hostile takeover of all things domestic -- traditions, holidays, from our fundamentals to our rule of law, nothing is sacred; even bake sales and lemonade stands are capitalizing upon a side of Americana thoroughly shrugged; anything that looks like, or acts like, conventional domestication sparks calls of intolerance and/or bigotry, preferably both, when blown up in the arena of public opinion.  Send in the lions and you can keep the clowns.

Abraham Lincoln warned us, didn't he....

"At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide."
--January 27, 1838 Lyceum Address

In other words, America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves...

At this time of reflection -- upon the horror, perpetrated by Radical Islamic Extremists, fifteen years ago today -- my attention takes me to evil, both foreign and domestic; for by the grace of God, I'm still here and able to take a long look back, with hopes of making an honest assessment of  things seen and unseen.  Of course, this girl doesn't have all the answers; but I pray and trust in the Divine Providence that still reigns over this land -- both yours and mine -- and thankfully, whether you believe in God or not.

Lincoln would be so sad if he were walking around all 6'4 tall today.  He would wonder what happened to our soul, what happened to our great love of doing right -- for "right makes might," alright.

Even with what America endured during the Civil War -- hundreds of thousands of men lost their lives (and the majority of them being WHITE mind you; but let's just focus on the whites fighting for what's right, for the UNION --  records show about 330,000 white men fought and lost their lives on behalf of the side of freedom and liberty and emancipation for all!)...and look at us now.  

Star Parker, founder of CURE, noted recently that "according to the U.S. Census, between 1890 and 1950, blacks had higher marriage rates than whites.  The  Black family flourished when we were freed from slavery!  Today, though, blacks have an out-of-wedlock birthrate of 73 percent! With broken families come poverty, dependency, crime and death."
Destruction is rising up from within the black community and it makes me cry  -- between babies born out of wedlock, between the ill-conceived agenda of Black Lives Matter, between gang life in the inner cities, between the resurgence of the New Black Panthers  -- if blacks are feeling lost and broken... a demographic that shows  94%  of it's people feeling positive to pretty sure there is a GOD -- what chance does America have really?  

Only about 61% of whites believe in full faith there is a God, with maybe another 20%  who could be swayed, maybe, and only if their football team wins and a full moon shines, which leaves lots of room for doubt....  lots of room for doubt....and idols....leaves lots of room for idols too...maybe even our own big, bad self, with pictures to prove it on instagram.

Where do we go from here?  The nation of liberty for all is being torn asunder...from the roots.

And so to our children we look for what our future holds --

and what do we see?

generally speaking and to coin a phrase from my darling girl --  NOTHING. This next generation's got nothing.  Nothing to add, nothing to subtract, just nothing.
No God,  No belief system greater than themselves.  No hope.   No rule of law or faith in authority, no Easter vacation (its spring break don't ya know).    No work for less than $15/hour.  No direction unless you're taking a road trip, cuz you only live once, right....  

They don't see this land as anything to uphold, or protect, or to serve -- as a duty, to God and to country -- because they don't believe the country will make it passed a week from Tuesday, and that's looking on the bright side.  And besides, leftists teachers have denigrated and discredited every good thing America stands for or has done right, to date, so why spend the energy to defend such a hell hole, right?   Not until such time equality lives and reigns for all, and cops stop shooting unarmed, defenseless, innocent black men, right Colin?

And crazy is as crazy does -- 

A California university is the latest public school of higher education to establish African-American-priority housing in response to demands from black students seeking refuge from what they consider insensitive remarks and “microaggressions” from their white classmates...This space would also serve as a safe space for [black students] to congregate, connect, and learn from each other."

Blacks asking to be segregated?  Really?
How is it that we have returned to the 1960's under the first African-American president?

Things just don't add up.

The whole idea of making America -- and keeping America pretty great -- is by assimilation into one American culture: one that carries in its highest regard, the essential and equal opportunity for building a life of faith, family, and freedom for all.  

All things domestic demand a certain level of domestication, through and through -- from our schools, to our churches, to our town halls, to our neighborhoods, to our congress, to our White House -- otherwise, we get chaos,  

Get out the Lincoln Logs, for Right Makes Might -- this is how good cultures survive and thrive; how can there be any disagreement with that?  Civility and Liberty is worth a war, but may it only take an a little kicking and screaming, a good chat over a beer after.

Yes.  The destruction of 9/11 remains to be a day we will never forget in our hearts and minds.  And to those first responders still living with trauma, loss, the ill effects of being one of the brave who did the right thing and rushed right in to save someone's wife, husband, son, or daughter -- we owe you our deepest thanks...always and every day.  To the families who are remembering a loved one, reopening a wound as fresh as the day itself -- may the memory of love grab hold of you and bring you peace.

and yet,
it may just be, 
as I sit here, gazing upon the instagram account of our country upon this wretched day...
another great destruction is happening under the cover of darkness, or even in the light of day, with images appearing every nanosecond, recording their every move  -- and that is the distinct failing of this generation upon the next generation to understand just what America is all about. It's a snapchat of a big fail.

And for the purpose of trying to relate, maybe even make light of it all,..aw hell, for what have we got to lose but perhaps everything... YOLO!   -- perhaps we start here:

the good, the bad, and the ugly walked into a bar...each of them ordered an ale and in good turn, they built a country!  God speed.

the next round is on you, America!  

...if the good Lord's willing and the freak don't rise.

It's a Ride Along C-Span Thing

Dear America,

Aye, Kilombo

when everything is just a hot mess

happy friday

given this morning finds me tongue tied, unable to even think straight, flaming-ly flummoxed to the point of unrecognizable furor  -- at just the thought of 700 million dollars a month (in cash and gold) going to the Iranian regime, and perhaps to the tune of 33.6 Billion dollars! dating back to 2014! ...this girl has decided to do something a wee bit different.  For I simply cannot speak; my voice has been snuffed out, like a pinch between two fingers atop a candlestick, leaving a scorching reminder of how much it hurts bearing witness to the atrocities against this land of liberty and her rule of law.

The strangest thing happened on Sunday afternoon.  While channel surfing the hours away, being thoroughly lazy, even staying in my jammies all the live long day -- all of a sudden C-Span grabbed me, pulled me in with no mercy.  And I thought to myself, nooooooooo, don't linger G -- don't get hooked...just walk away...

But it was too late.

It was something out of Hillsdale College -- an interview with Dennis Prager -- and my personal power to disconnect from it was utterly useless; it got me, the tube wrapped around me so fast, there was no way out.   This was mother nature speaking to me and all I could do was sit back and take it.   

And yet, what began as a sign of weakness turned around full-tilt, just a green flash later this girl was hanging ten over the coffee table and my little ass wasn't gonna budge.  To my surprise, my ears were ringing, my soul was stirring, my heart was alive with what it is to be an American girl! [As if I ever truly have issues in this area...tee hee]

SO without further delay, HEAR ye HERE ye are some HIGHLIGHTS -- and dare I say, this will hardly do the entire experience justice; Dennis Prager is freaking awesome!  He's so clear on things, all things, everything; ask him a question and Prager has an answer that is Pithy, Practical, Precise, and Powerful with a capital P.   If P were a wave, this girl would be pounded into the sand and come up smiling for the experience and say cowabunga.  So join me now; let's ride --

"If you have LIBERTY -- there will be no equality."

"The French Revolution 
was all about equality of outcome; 
the American Revolution 
was about the equality of opportunity."

"Socialism spends what capitalism makes."

"Leftism has been the most dynamic religion in the world."

"Catholic schools teach Catholism -- 
it's a moral mandate to teach it; 
just as the many Public Schools today, 
teach Leftism."

"If it's a dysfunction in America, 
the Democrats will benefit."

[answering to those who dismiss and discredit arguments by making generalizations] ....and paraphrasing Prager, he said something like this:

"Without making generalities, 
humans are idiots,
 for there is no real understanding 
of life and how it works...
it is more important to ask, 
is the generalization accurate?"

"If it's a moral demand 
for free healthcare -- 
why isn't food free? 
surely that is more important..."

and then he reminds us of a phrase made popular by Milton Friedman, "there is no such thing as a free lunch"...   and then promptly brings the audience to this point:  "Because nothing is truly free --there is a cost somewhere and that cost is paid somewhere by somebody."...

Then a caller into C-Span reminded Prager of something he once said..."humans are not born good."

And so he added, "they're not born anything. they become something through environment, enrichment, experiences..."

Responding to the recent conversation started by Colin Kaepernick, Prager goes right to American exceptionalism to answer it  -- "there just isn't a country on earth that has such a racial mix that gets along so well."  

"America is not racist; there are racists in America"


truth is...

"you are privileged if you are raised with a father."



In Los Angeles, children are offered free breakfast and lunch, and Prager says --

"breakfast is the least expensive meal
 of the day...
if you can't supply breakfast 
for your own child, you're inept. 
 Child services 
should come take your children."  
[shocking, huh..but makes sense, right?]

the conversation shifts to being Jewish...

"America is the best country for Jews ever!"

"America is not anti-Semitic; 
there are anti-Semitics in America."

"Jews invent secular religions all the time...environmentalism, secularism, multiculturalism, ...as a replacement of the religion...The irony is that Jews embrace the Left, but the Left loathes them."

Re: Trump -- [disclosure: Prager was against Trump in the primary, but is now supporting the party's pick]

"we're not electing a pastor -- but a president."

Regarding picking the lesser of two evils -- 

"picture two doors.  
First door, IS a man eating lion.  
Second door, PERHAPS a man eating lion.  
Which one would you choose?"

I believe this was when he began responding to his latest book, The Ten Commandments, Still the Best Moral Code....

"what we do, how we behave, matters"

"God judges everybody by our behavior."

On behalf of the Right not teaching its stuff well, if at all anymore....he begins to tell a story....

Over the years, Prager has posed a question to his audiences -- 

When in the midst of some tragedy, would you save your dog or a stranger?   
1/3 of people say dog, 
1/3 people say Stranger, 
1/3 couldn't even decide.  
And then Prager quickly noted, if raised with the Judeo-Christian roots, the answer should always be to save the stranger....

It's Thinking with a Capital T Thing

Dear America,

making an honest assessment of things seems to be a good place to start on this typical, foggy morning in SO CAL

shedding some light on things, yeah yeah
opening the drapes, 
paving the way for the sunlight, now hidden to the far reaches of the horizon,  to ultimately become the fool rushing in to save the day...eventually

we need the fog sometimes
in order to quiet the mind long enough to think...to begin to understand the big picture alongside the minute nuances of truth or fiction, all of which eventually begin to take a certain shape of what's to come, outlining through the nooks and crannies what is real, what is imagined, what is truth, and what is false.  The seen and the unseen revel amongst themselves and almost magically, things come together

and this morning, let's just start with one thing Capital T said last night to Matt Lauer --

"I have a plan, but I want to be -- look, I have a very substantial chance of winning.  We're going to make America great again, I have a very substantial chance of winning.  If I win, I don't want to broadcast to the enemy what my plan is ...If I like maybe a combination of mine and the generals plan or the generals plan.  If I like their plan, Matt, I'm not going to call you up and say, 'Matt, we have a great plan.' This is what Obama does."
Upon morning light, the Washington Examiner post of late last night, titled, "Trump vows to replace generals" from Al Weaver, is a masterpiece of a headline, but let's let the sun shine in, shall we?

Is that really what you get, Al?  Is that the summation of your observation from the 30 minute exchange last night?   Because, I, for one, five star girl can tell you, not sure it was a vow -- for that means he's committed to it -- and really now?  What, other than making America great again, is the Trumpster truly committed to? (It's a fair question.)

sure he did say....
"Well, there will probably be different generals, to be honest with you...
but then he went on to add:
"Well, the generals under Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have not been successful," Trump said. "Under the leadership of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, the generals have been reduced to rubble. They have been reduced to a point where it's embarrassing for our country. You have a force of 30,000 or so people ... and I can just see the great Gen. George Patton spinning in his grave as ISIS we can't beat." 
"I have great faith in the military. I have great faith in certain of the commanders, but I have no faith in Hillary Clinton or the leadership," 

Truth is, there is a galaxy of possibilities waiting in the wings when you Think with a capital T...

Could not the generals transition into something different even without a replacement?  Indeed.  Perhaps through osmosis -- by the leadership of an entirely different Commander In Chief, we see a sea of change in the right direction?  Yeah yeah.  That's  a possibility.  

And yeah, Capital T may still need to change a few heads in the long run, with an overall strategy in mind, that is, but isn't that what being the leader and COMMANDER in CHIEF is all about?  Who do we recognize as COMMANDER of all things really, if it's not the PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES?  

Surely, and generally speaking, Obama has made a few changes cough, cough, cough, cough.   [if you only read one of those links -- choose the last one about McChrystal]  What's with the selective outrage on Trump?  THIS administration has done general picking a plenty for pete's sake.

Thinking through the fog is what Capital T seems to do, and do seemingly quite well (unlike Hillary, right....ahhh ahhh little miss can't remember anything that came before the fall, as in concussion...)

Americans are so dialed into reality, and the things literally standing right before our eyes while changing every nanosecond -- that we overlook an advantage only achieved by taking a fine squint to things; taking the time to sit in the fog and contemplate things virtually unseen -- the possibilities are endless --  realities co-mingle with what might be, and after the clouds fall away and blue sky opens up to a brand new day, the light shows answers that to the naked eye could never be found.  And that especially goes if you're in a hurry. just sayin'

This process is sometimes referred to as thinking outside the box.  
Indeed.  It's not the Truman Show, it's the Trump show. So buckle up, buttercups. 

And speaking of a wall of fog --  the same idea holds true regarding building a wall without America actually paying for it, per say, and making Mexico "pay for it" through the assets of drug lords, maybe,  or through a tax upon Mexican businesses who wish to capitalize upon the insatiable appetite of the American consumer, or through any other creative resource within the realm called all things are possible

 [Not to mention, how this administration thought it was proper business to pay Iran, chief financier and supplier of terrorism in all the world,  any interest is beyond me.  Where is the freaking mainstream media show on this one?  Under the cover of darkness, darkness played with a sinister regime, and finally a little daylight proves our worst fear of giving an enemy of the state enough funds to do great harm a billion times over and back again.  This is considered an intelligent thing to do?  Really?]
I like how Capital T was vague in his plans to Matt.

I like it a lot.

This girl has long held the opinion that the most essential military strategy is secrecy.  like, duh.

Be vague, T,  Be very very vague on this one and don't budge a muscle.

What I surely don't want more of is this....and it's plucked from the pages of my latest issue of Verdict, published by The Judicial Watch folks; it's an email exchange, February 22, 2009 between Clinton and Cheryl Mills (chief of staff at the time):

"I called ops and they gave me your 'secure' cells...but only got a high-pitched whining sound."  When Mills suggested that Clinton try the secure line again, the former secretary wrote back: "I give up.  Call me on my home #."

what a riot, huh.
And this is who half the country believes is ready to be Commander In Chief?  Seriously?

I'll take capital T for a hundred dollars, Pat.

It's Can We All Behave Thing

Dear America,

so Colin (and a teammate Eric Reid) kneeled during the national anthem last night, here in San Diego; which is far better than sitting on the bench, right?  Either somebody got to him to straighten out a wee bit -- or -- something deep down inside him made him tweek his stance in order to meet America half way.  And this girl considers that, a good start. 

Not only did he kneel, but he also said this after the game:

 "I'm not anti-American. I love America," said Kaepernick, who stayed on the field long after the game to sign autographs for enthusiastic fans. "I love people. That's why I'm doing this. I want to help make America better, and I think having these conversations helps everybody have a better understanding of where everybody is coming from."

Speaking of the American Huddle of yesterday's blog, we can all appreciate that, right; for surely we didn't get this love of country message upon his first anthem protest.

So let's then continue the conversation.  It's what Colin is asking for and that's easy enough...to talk about it, right?

If we look to having "a better understanding of where everybody is coming from," then everybody is everybody.  So props to Colin for giving us all permission to discuss it.

And considering Colin voluntarily became a catalyst of this new found freedom of expression against oppression of our time  -- a time when  grassroots activism called "Black Lives Matter" has become all the rage, raising awareness of police brutality against people of color, highlighting how many in the black community consider this an illustration of the continued oppression against blacks in America -- leading many, like Colin, to outright disrespect the flag for which she stands until
such change comes.

And it makes me wonder -- what does that change really look like, how do we get there from here, given the facts surrounding the whole truth about this alleged oppression by police within the black community?  At what point will Colin believe we have reached resolution?

As Heather Mac Donald pointed out -- in the Hillsdale publication, Imprimis, April 2016  (See  my early summer blogs on this in particular....here and here; might I add, this issue of Imprimis is gaining alot of mileage on the old gthing...we can't seem to stop bringing it up....funny how a little truth goes far, but I digress.) --

"We have been here before.  In the 1960's and early 1970's, black and white radicals directed hatred and occasional violence against the police.  The difference today is that anti-cop ideology is embraced at the highest reaches of the establishment:  by the President, by his Attorney General, by college presidents, by foundation heads, and by the press."

As Heather illuminated with statistic after statistic, we have reached a new age for modern America, and it just so happens to take us backwards --  having reached a time where violence against the police has doubled during the first three months of 2016, and in it's more minute expression, an age of sitting during the national anthem on the sidelines of America's favorite past time.

More Heather:

"Given the history of racism in this country and the complicity of the police in that history, police shootings of black men are particularly and understandably fraught. That history informs how many people view the police. But however intolerable and inexcusable every act of police brutality is, and while we need to make sure that the police are properly trained in the Constitution and in courtesy, there is a larger reality behind the issue of policing, crime, and race that remains a taboo topic. The problem of black-on-black crime is an uncomfortable truth, but unless we acknowledge it, we won’t get very far in understanding patterns of policing."

You know, Colin -- if you care about understanding the larger reality of black on black crime -- you should consider reading what Heather Mac Donald has to say; matter of fact, I wish you had, back in April, perhaps then this whole phase might look a whole lot different by now, right?

And shocking! --  and surely, Colin,  you will concur -- is the truth of violent crime committed in America's 75 largest counties...From data compiled in 2009, Heather notes:  "blacks constituted 62 percent of all robbery defendants, 57 percent of all murder defendants, 45 percent of all assault defendants—but only 15 percent of the population."

and while this isn't a statistic anyone in the black community wants to talk about, the ugly truth of what's happening within the black community must also understand what the black community does to itself:

"Every year, approximately 6,000 blacks are murdered. This is a number greater than white and Hispanic homicide victims combined, even though blacks are only 13 percent of the national population. Blacks are killed at six times the rate of whites and Hispanics combined. In Los Angeles, blacks between the ages of 20 and 24 die at a rate 20 to 30 times the national mean. Who is killing them? Not the police, and not white civilians, but other blacks. The astronomical black death-by-homicide rate is a function of the black crime rate. Black males between the ages of 14 and 17 commit homicide at ten times the rate of white and Hispanic male teens combined. Blacks of all ages commit homicide at eight times the rate of whites and Hispanics combined, and at eleven times the rate of whites alone."
So when Colin wants to have this conversation, can we include this reality hiding in the shadows on the field?

It is interesting that Colin -- with tats of Bible verses up and down his hot bod -- wasn't so vocal until he met his new girl.  A year of indoctrination by dating later,  the influence of a beautiful Muslim activist upon this all American football heavyweight  heart is showing. Ahhh yes, love, that explains it -- for the love of pete; Colin's love of country is all asunder, dying a slow death under the fog of real love, impressing upon him a certain and rampant oppression undermining the general welfare of blacks in America...all for no reason at all and totally unwarranted, it would seem.

And let's veer another direction, shall we?  It's just popular to hate the flag altogether.  When did that start?   hummm

circa 2008.  What I see is the president (then, merely a senator) being the only one not crossing his heart.  Can we talk about that?

With regard to the popular email chain that depicts the President speaking to the press without a flag anywhere close by, let alone right behind him, as customary (circa 2010)-- Snopes gives cover like so:

"Although it is typical practice that U.S. flags are present as a backdrop whenever the President of the United States speaks to the press or engages in other types of public appearances, such displays are not always present. Due to other factors (e.g., an event's nature, or its being impromptu, its being held at an unusual location) an opportunity to set up U.S. flag backdrops may be missed or skipped, or flags may be present but simply not visible in the camera angles used by photographers, so it's not hard to turn up photographs of the other recent Presidents referenced above addressing the press with no U.S. flags visible anywhere..."

and then proceeds to show some pictures to back them up.

Only problem is, in this scenario -- and any other press conference inside the White House -- there really is no excuse not to have a flag stationed behind the President.  I mean, how hard is that?  Why would the flag ever have to move from behind such a podium?

And then we have, from more recent days, what happened in New York, in the small town of Poughkeepsie -- fire department told to take the flags down, until the public outcry!  How is this even possible in America today?

And here's a fascinating change of allegiance....see infowars on PS75.  OR how about this new Florida law...here.

Something is afoot, America.

And looking high and low, it seems to be the American flag.

If working from the premise that dissing/removing all flags, from all countries guilty of oppression and wrong doing against its people, and perhaps casting a wider net to include all countries fraught with government abuses, deception, corruption against the general welfare -- starting with America --  is not only appropriate, but a mandate for political and cultural retribution  especially on behalf have racial injustices and inequalities -- then what flag in all the world would be left flying?  What flag would be left worthy of any salute?

In light of what is actually happening on the streets in America, where is the logic behind allowing the current strife within desecrate the flag as if it stands for nothing good at all?  Isn't that extreme?

When it gets down to it, isn't Colin capable of having this conversation, while he says he "loves America" and still salute the flag?  Why does he opt to go all in with showing his disgust, his disrespect, rather than his love?   Especially now -- now that's it's done, now that he's made his point, now that the conversations are happening all over the world -- why does he continue to hold out until he sees the change?

And NOW, folks,  we are back to where we began.

The thing is, just how do we get to resolution when we begin with the actual truth, the facts and stats, clearly conflicting with personal bias?

What does the change that Colin so badly wants to see look like, act like, if it's not the outright demand that all Americans behave themselves, no matter the color of their skin or station in life, whether wearing a badge or not?  Behave!

Wouldn't that be the answer?

Forget about the meme contemplating can we all just get along -- how about we all behave ourselves and go about our days simply doing the right thing for the right reasons with the right attitude.

Is that asking too much?

....that all of us in America just follow the fricken law and stay out of trouble from the start....to go to school and get an education...to stay out of gang life....to honor our mother and our father...to honor our children and be good parents...to only use our guns for self-defense, and only at the last resort, and keep our guns under lock and key and away from our babies...
don't drink and drive...don't steal...don't kill...don't lie -- and that goes especially to yourself...

yeah, let's begin by looking at the whole truth --  for the fact remains, the whole duty and responsibility to behave lies upon each and every one of us, to God and to country, every single day.

When we tackle that, we all win.

And then there is this parting thought....
This girl would have to believe that if Colin had trouble at his million dollar home, he would call the police, right?  But would they hurry or take their time now that he wears pigs wearing police hats on his socks?  hummmm


Well well well we have talked and talked today.  And what a conversation, right?
